Siwan Sword is an author and researcher whose work explores Kurdish history, identity, political and social trauma, assimilation, memory, and the struggle for freedom.

His books combine historical research with personal experience and social analysis, moving between rigorous documentation and deeply personal testimony. Writing in both English and Turkish, he aims to document overlooked experiences, examine the effects of political and cultural oppression, and preserve historical memory for future generations.

His works include research-based books as well as autobiographical writing inspired by his own experiences and observations — bridging scholarship and lived history so that what has been silenced can be read, understood and remembered.
